As a result of the blockade imposed in a number of countries, film producers/distributors have entered into partnerships with video platforms such as Amazon Prime, Sony Live, Hotstar, etc. to stream their films. For example, there are films that would be released for the first time in cinemas at Amazon Prime, Hotstar and others. Companies with VOD (video on demand) services produce and broadcast their own programs/films/web series. In order to watch these latest episodes and films, you need a subscription. Although the subscription prices for VOD are much higher than for movie tickets, you have access to different screenings and movies for a single payment. That is why VOD is an excellent alternative to theatre and television.

Amazon Prime (video)
Amazon Prime has a good collection of international exhibitions. It costs 999 rupees a year. Since I bought the subscription at Prime, I’ve seen the following shows:
- Bosh, awful, family man.
- Bates Motel, Luther, Goliath, Biz,
- Jack Ryan, Breath, night manager, et cetera.
Most of the shows you find in the Prime Video application or on the website are entertaining. Besides the above mentioned series/webseries you will also find films like The Joker, The Dark Knight, Crying, etc. on Prime Video.
Although Amazon Prime video site/application has an excellent interface, it has no filter to hide non-Hingi or non-English content. The quality of the video streaming is pretty good. In addition to the video streaming service, the main subscription plan also offers free access to the Prime Music service and the Prime Reading service. Hot star
Hotstar offers 2 cost-based plans – VIP and Premium. The cost of the VIP plan is 399 euros per year. It costs money (must be bought). To be honest, the Hotstar rewards plan wasn’t worth buying before Disney shows and movies appeared on their platform. Despite the fact that the bonus plan costs INR 1499, it is now worth buying it. With the VIP Hotstar plan you can watch the latest Hindi films and popular English films such as Avengers, Terminator, Lion King etc. as well as the latest 7 Bollywood films. The Premium plan allows users to view Game of Thrones, True Detective, Chernobyl, WatchMen and more. The streaming quality is excellent for both recordings and the mobile/web Hotstar application is unmistakable. Even during a live cricket match, Hotstar offers excellent video transmission.
Sony Liv
Sony Liv is new in the neighborhood. This is an excellent choice for football and WWE fans, as the company that owns this service has popular sports channels that broadcast major football events and show WWE. The service also provides access to a number of Hindi/English web series and Hollywood films. This month Sony Liv started airing the 1992 Sphere web series. The series now has an IMDB 9.1 rating that is higher than several web series launched in recent months.
Sony adds new content every two to three weeks. After the introduction of the scam in 1992, Sony introduced Liv Hillary, a quiz show, a night shift, etc. in the web series/television. The Sony Live website has a serious problem. If you pause a video stream and try to resume it, the content of the website will not play. If you close the tab and reopen the website and play the video, the Sony Liv website will display a Maximum Limit Reached error.
Common characteristics
Relatives: You can add or remove family members from your plan (limited). The family members you add can use the VOD service on their mobile device or PC.
Download option : Hotstar, Sony Liv and Amazon Prime allow users to download episodes and watch them later.
Children’s fashion: If you have children, you can switch to the children’s interface, where the streaming service broadcasts only child-friendly movies.
Free plan (OTT + VOD) : Hotstar and Sony Liv have a free plan that allows users to watch free TV shows. Amazon Prime doesn’t have an open plan.
Possibility of monthly/annual payment : The three platforms I share here allow monthly and annual payments. The cost of a monthly subscription, multiplied by 12, is slightly higher than that of an annual subscription.
Pause/repair everywhere: If you interrupt or stop transmission on the site, you can resume playback from the moment you stopped it.
