This iOS Device Manager utility makes it easy to back up and move content between PC/Mac and iOS devices. Unlike other backup tools I’ve used before, this tool allows you to restore specific items rather than an entire collection.

Managing your iOS device with iMazing is a matter of luck. With a single click, you can create smarter backups, extract files from iTunes, and selectively import files. If you have an iPhone or iPad, iMazing is an essential application. This saves your files and time, especially when automatic backup is enabled. In addition to easily managing applications, music videos, voice memos, music, photos, and Time Machine style call logs, iMazing also lets you transfer eBooks and PDF documents to iBooks. Plus, you can easily drag and drop photos from your computer to your iOS device. So why abide by Apple’s restrictive data management policies when iMazing can bypass them for you?

What is iMazing?

iMazing is an advanced mobile device management tool that lets you transfer data and files between your PC/Mac and Apple iOS devices. This powerful and easy to use software is an excellent alternative to iTunes and offers a lot of convenience and variety.

Best of all, all you have to do is download it to your computer, not your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. iMazing gives you more control over your phone with features other iTunes alternatives can only dream of.

Do you need iMazing?

Yeah! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! The software is intended for anyone with an iPhone, iPod or iPad. It connects directly to any installed iPhone application, so it can be backed up, uninstalled and reinstalled at any time with no risk of data loss.

Unlike iTunes, iMazing offers full or selective restoration of backups, which makes it very useful when you upgrade and replace. It also has a Wi-Fi option that makes it easy to back up your device.

Is iMazing safe?

Yeah! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! According to his personal experience, iMazing is the best iOS device manager for Mac and PC. It is 100% secure and offers advanced data transfer and backup features.

So while the software is known for its powerful and intuitive user interface, it also provides secure and reliable data management policies.

iMazing is a virus?

iMazing is as clean as a name. I tested it with many antivirus programs and they all gave the same results as the malware.

It is also scanned with Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Antimalware before installation. So you can be sure that malware, spyware, worms or Trojan horses are not included.

Is the use of iMazing free?

Many features of iMazing are available in a free version, but you need to upgrade to a paid version to bypass the restrictions. You can choose from different types of licenses, starting at $49.99. With an update, you can export data, update or reinstall iOS, and restore backups indefinitely.

iMazing Free vs. Toll

As already mentioned, iMazing is available in a free trial version as well as in a professional version. The free test product offers an unlimited number of automatic backups, but does not recover files and data from the backups.

Data transfer between your iOS device and your computer is also affected by the limitations of the free trial. In paid versions, all restrictions are removed and you can easily restore files from unlimited backups.

Anything good?

iMazing has incredible features to help you transfer, backup and restore files more efficiently. Data transfer between iOS devices and computers is much easier and safer thanks to the software. You can also use the software to back up and manage multiple devices.

Use of iMazing

To use iMazing, you need to install it on your Mac or Windows PC. For your Mac:

  • Open the Downloads folder and double-click dmg to open the installer.
  • Click the Accept button to accept the license agreement.
  • Drag the iMazing icon into the Applications folder to complete the installation.
  • Launch iMazing from the Apps folder

For PC users :

  • Open the Downloads folder and double-click exe to open the installer.
  • Click on the Next button and follow the instructions of the installer. I recommend leaving the default options at each step.

After installation, use a USB cable to connect your iOS device to your computer. After the first connection, you can continue to use the cable or disconnect it by connecting your devices over Wi-Fi. To connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB cable :

  • Launch the iMazing application and connect your device with a USB cable.
  • Make sure your device is unlocked
  • When you connect for the first time, iMazing invites you to answer the request to trust your device. Choose trust and move on.
  • Once your device is connected, it appears in the side window of iMazing.

The Wi-Fi connection is automatically activated when the device is paired. If you use the same Wi-Fi network on your computer and phone, you can disconnect the cable and the connection indicator will change to a Wi-Fi icon.

Hint: You can change the Wi-Fi connection settings in the Device Settings window.

No matter how you use iMazing, you need to buy a license to unlock unlimited exports, upgrade or reinstall iOS, and start restoring your backup. Choose from three different plans and get the most out of the software. There are individual, universal and family formulas to meet your specific needs.

Characteristics of iMazing

iMazing is impressive iOS device management with exceptional features iTunes users can only dream of. Most of these features include backing up and restoring files, as well as exporting and importing files between iOS devices and your computer.

Let’s take a look at this application that will help you better manage your iOS device.

Backup your iOSdevice

Screenshot of the iMazing backup function

iMazing offers several backup options for most file types, including photos, voice memos, messages, call history, safari books, calendars, and health information. It is important to note that the software does not support the iTunes media library.

Like any backup tool, you can restore files when you need them. However, there is an automatic option that allows wireless backup if your iOS device is on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC/Mac. You can also change the settings as desired. Personally, I am not a fan of automatic data backup, so I follow the monthly schedule from 9pm to noon when the battery charge is over 50%.

In addition to the automatic backup, you have other options. These include :

Backup Archiving

Unlike iTunes, iMazing 2 automatically archives your data instead of overwriting existing backups. In this way, the software avoids the potential loss of data that is common among iTunes users.

Backup Encryption

Encrypted Backup is an Apple security feature that protects your data. Just turn it on the first time you back up your device and all subsequent backups will be encrypted.

Fuse memory

This option allows you to select where your backups should be stored. Most people prefer the internal drive, but you can always switch to an external drive if you have one.

Once you have selected the desired settings, click the Save button and give the process the necessary time. The export time usually depends on several factors, including the size of the file. Mine lasted about three and a half minutes, which was pretty impressive.

Restoring files from backups

For a long time, iOS users struggled to select the specific files they wanted to restore. iCloud and iTunes offer recovery backups, but you can’t choose what type of data or applications you want to restore. Everything is tight and you have to go through the endless list by hand.

And here’s iMazing to make your job easier. This application lets you adjust your backup and restore settings, select the applications and recordings you need, and leave the recordings you don’t need. You can also restore a backup set to multiple devices at the same time.

iMazing makes it easy to return archived photos, messages, contacts, notes, calendars, voice memos, and applications. The fact that certain types of data can be restored from backups, including backup files encrypted by iTunes, makes iMazing a must for every user of an iPhone, iPad or iPod.

File transfer between iOS device and PC/Mac

Screenshot of iMazing fast transfer

Just like the backup restore feature, iMazing lets you transfer files from your iPhone to your computer and vice versa. I used to use iTunes and iCloud, but in the end it always took longer than necessary. The software makes it easy to transfer data between your PC and your iOS device.

The best thing is that you can transfer the data wirelessly, without the need for a flash cable. There is also a quick transfer option that allows you to transfer specific files by simply dragging and dropping.

Easy data transfer between devices

This feature is especially useful for people who have updated their phone and want to transfer data and files to a new phone. iMazing lets you select files and quickly copy them from your old iOS device. Make sure both devices have the latest iOS system installed, select the data type and let the application do the rest.

As with data recovery, you can easily transfer photos, voice memos, text messages, call history, safari books, calendars, health information and other types of data. The configuration function saves you time and space on your new iPhone or Android. Just select what you want to translate, click Confirm Translation and we’re done.

Pay attention: I recommend backing up the data on the old device, as all current data, including unspecified data, will be erased during transfer. You don’t have to do this if you don’t want the data, but it’s safer to have a copy just in case.

Alternatives

iTunes:

iTunes is a mobile device management tool that also serves as a media library and radio station. Just like iMazing, it can be used to back up various files and recordings on your PC. However, only one backup per device is stored, which increases the risk of potential data loss.

iMazing Review: Conclusions

And that’s it! iMazing is an impressive device management tool that lets you quickly and easily back up and restore and transfer data. It has incredible features, all designed to improve efficiency and safety.  Unlike iTunes and iCloud, iMazing gives you the freedom to set retrieval and transfer options. This saves you time and storage space, especially if you only want to retrieve multiple objects.

What I also like about this application are the unique and numerous backups. iMazing stores multiple backups for each device, which greatly reduces the risk of data loss. Other applications on the market overwrite previous backups, which can lead to data loss. What’s more, iMazing lets you manually decide what you want to do with each device, giving you full control over your data.

I used to use different applications to control devices, but iMazing is a bit better than the others. The flexibility of the parameters and ease of use make it exceptional. What’s more, it works flawlessly on my MacBook pro and does what it claims to do. I insist you try. This is an iOS data recovery solution.

Thank you for reading it.
