Fonts can make reading more or less pleasant for the reader. For example, the new fonts can be found in PDF files. It can be a brochure, an advertisement, promotional material, a case study or anything you can open on your computer. But how do you recognize fonts in PDF files in Windows 10 when you see them and like them?

There are several ways to get around this. A friend of mine wasted an hour comparing a font he liked with the fonts that appeared in the Microsoft Word menu. I thought there were better ways to define fonts quickly and without wasting a lot of time.
Let’s get started.
1. ACROBATIC RIDER
Adobe Acrobat is a well-known name when it comes to working with PDF files. He can do that and much more, as you probably already know. You can open a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat Reader and press Ctrl+D on your keyboard or click File and select Properties. You can also right-click anywhere in the PDF document to select the Properties option.

Under the Fonts tab you will find a list of all fonts used in this PDF file.

You can also check the encryption data here by clicking on the + icon. This expands the menu even further. More than one font is used in the document, which is not unusual. This is usually done to differentiate or mark points in a PDF file.
If you want to select a section or line of text and then set the font in PDF, you need Acrobat DC Pro, which is not free. If you have a copy, go to Tools > Content > Edit Document Text and select the text for which you want to set the font, then select Properties. Here, too, the process is quite simple: in 2009 IKEA decided to change the font from Futura to Verdana. This has made a lot of people unhappy.
2. IDENTIFY THE FONTS OF THE SENTENCES
We have seen that identifying fonts in a PDF file is easy. It is also easy to recognize fonts using phrases or words, provided you have a Pro version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don’t have it, you get the PDF-XChange Viewer. It is a free PDF reader with additional paid functionality in other applications.
Download the application and open the PDF file with the font you are in love with. Select the text with the selection tool (not with the main tool). If you see a hand icon instead, right-click anywhere in the document and choose Tool.

Select the text and right-click again to select the Text Properties option.

In the Format tab you can now see the font and other encoding details.

3. SET OF FONTS ONLINE
Downloading a separate PDF reader application to detect fonts is not a good idea. Why waste valuable SSD storage space? That is, it serves a purpose, of course, but there is another way to define fonts from a text string. Get inside the police.
Take a screenshot of the text that contains your new favorite font and upload the image to the website below.

Once you have uploaded an image, you can refine the sentence or word if you have not already done so. Press the blue arrow to start the process when you have made your choice.
